Rome (Pantheon)

I had the pleasure of making the Galleria Imperiale building in Overwatch 2's Rome map. It was an incredible experience to visit the Pantheon in Rome, and since then, I have decided that I had to create that space in 3D. When we were discussing which maps to make for Overwatch 2, I pushed hard for us to make Rome, and I'm very happy I got to work on this map. I think it was the best environment work I did for the game and also the one I had the most fun.

As a huge fan of Rome and ancient history, making this map was one of my dreams come true, and I gave my best to capture the sensations I felt in Rome. The aromas, the textures, and the little details that make the place unique. The team really rallied around this map, and everyone gave their best, from concept artists to prop artists, lighting artists, level designers etc...
